<\/p>\nFrom the very beginning, I knew Kelli and Channing\u2019s wedding day was going to be something special. Not because of the venue (though St. Francis Xavier Cathedral is breathtaking), or the flowers, or even the music\u2014but because of who they are. Kind, thoughtful, and full of love for their people, their day was a reflection of all the best parts of them.<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve walked through the doors of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral more times than I can count, but walking in on Kelli and Channing\u2019s wedding day felt different. Knowing it\u2019s where I once said my own vows made it even sweeter to watch them begin their forever there too.<\/p>\n

Kelli was such a dream to work with\u2014so kind, organized (hello, hand-drawn sketches of the reception venue!), and just easy to be around. She knew what she wanted but also trusted the process, which made everything flow so smoothly. And her mom? Just the sweetest. We worked closely together throughout those final months leading up to the big day, making sure all the little details Kelli had planned came to life exactly the way she envisioned.<\/p>\n
One of my favorite things she did was a surprise for her mom\u2014a handkerchief tucked quietly into her pew at the ceremony. She wanted her mom to sit down and just\u00a0see<\/em>\u00a0it waiting for her, as a little thank-you for everything. It was simple, thoughtful, and so full of love. I made sure it was in place before anyone even entered the church\u2014and watching her mom\u2019s reaction when she found it was such a tender moment.<\/p>\n The Cathedral is just stunning. The light in that space, the history, the sacredness of it all… it\u2019s such a peaceful place to start a marriage. The ceremony was full of joy and reverence, and the music brought it to life in such a special way\u2014live violin, piano, and vocals that filled the church with warmth.<\/p>\n Finding the right music for the ceremony was something that took a little extra care. Kelli had a very specific vision, and after she and her mom had searched for a pianist\/vocalist without much luck, I asked if I could step in and take this piece off their plate. They gladly said yes, and I was able to connect them with the incredibly talented\u00a0Angela McCann<\/strong>. She was the perfect fit. I\u2019ll never forget overhearing a guest whisper, \u201cWait\u2026 is that live?\u201d when Angela started singing during the ceremony. That moment told me we had hit the mark exactly the way Kelli hoped.<\/p>\n One of the sweetest parts of the ceremony was the way Channing\u2019s two beautiful daughters were included. Their presence brought so much joy and so many smiles throughout the day. You could see how deeply loved and celebrated they were in this new chapter of family life\u2014it was really special to witness.<\/p>\n Another highlight of the ceremony was the homily given by\u00a0Fr. Chad Partain<\/strong>. It was one of the most beautiful and personal messages we\u2019ve heard at a wedding. He spoke with such warmth and depth, weaving in the couple\u2019s story in a way that truly reflected their love for one another and their faith. It was the kind of homily that made every guest lean in a little closer, leaving no doubt that Kelli and Channing\u2019s marriage was rooted in something lasting and full of grace.<\/p>\n Behind the scenes, we kept everything on track so Kelli and her crew could soak in every moment. We lined up the processional, kept the timing smooth, and made sure the couple didn\u2019t have to worry about a single thing. That\u2019s always our heart\u2014let us handle the details so you can just\u00a0be present<\/em>.<\/p>\n After the ceremony, everyone headed to\u00a0Oakwing Golf Course<\/strong>\u00a0for the reception\u2014and it was such a fun, welcoming celebration. The space was filled with thoughtful details that showed Kelli\u2019s creativity and care. Her\u00a0own calligraphy<\/em>\u00a0was featured throughout the reception space on signage, adding such a personal and beautiful touch. It was the kind of detail guests notice and remember, because it felt so uniquely\u00a0her<\/em>.<\/p>\n And then there was the mantle arrangement\u2014a breathtaking spread of hydrangeas stretching across, with their custom monogram above it all. It was a statement piece that tied the room together perfectly and gave the space a polished yet personal feel.<\/p>\n From the florals to the cake, and even the live painter, the reception was full of little moments that turned into big memories. And when the band kicked off, the dance floor came alive\u2014joyful, lively, and full of energy.<\/p>\n We stayed close throughout the night, keeping transitions smooth and vendors on track so the family could just enjoy themselves. Watching everyone laugh, dance, and celebrate without stress is exactly why we do what we do.<\/p>\n Looking back, this wedding was just a joy.
